From Land of the Wildebeest migration{Kenya} to Your Home – The Heartfelt Journey of Sanrise Homecare

Welcome to Sanrise Homecare, where our story is as much about compassion as it is about care. I’m Anastasia Jepkorir, and my journey to founding Sanrise Homecare is deeply personal and profoundly inspired by my roots.

Born and raised in the vibrant countryside of Kenya, I grew up surrounded by the warmth of family and the enduring spirit of community. My mother, a dedicated nurse, was a beacon of compassion and care, not only to our family but to everyone she touched. Her unwavering passion for nursing ignited a similar calling in almost all of my siblings, guiding us toward the medical field.

My journey into caregiving began at a young age. After high school, while my parents were at work, I took on the responsibility of caring for my ailing grandparents. Although I was not fully aware of the complexities of their conditions, I approached their care with deep compassion and dedication. This experience shaped my understanding of what it means to provide heartfelt care and support.

With a strong foundation in caregiving, I pursued my studies in Nairobi, Kenya, where I trained in dentistry. I spent several years practicing as a dentist, honing my skills and deepening my commitment to health and well-being. However, it was during my further studies in the United States that I discovered a renewed passion for working with the geriatric population. This realization, combined with my background in caregiving, led to the creation of Sanrise Homecare.

Sanrise Homecare was born from the desire to extend the same love, care, and respect that my grandparents experienced from our family to yours. Our mission is to provide exceptional homecare services with the same warmth and dedication that defines our family values. Serving King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties, we are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our clients, offering personalized care that respects their dignity and enhances their quality of life.
